Terms of Warranty
- The manufacturer’s maximum liability is limited to the replacement of the mattress.
- The duly filled, stamped, and dealer-signed warranty card must be produced along with the relevant cash memo at the time of claim.
- All product-related complaints and replacements shall be dealt with at the dealer’s end.
Warranty Card Is Not Valid For
- Damage resulting from accidents, mishandling, heat, or any kind of tampering.
- Mattresses not purchased from the company’s authorized dealers.
- Damage arising from commercial use.
- Damage resulting from alterations made by anyone other than the company.
- Mattress fabric is not covered under warranty.
Other Terms & Conditions
- The bill/supporting document must be produced by the customer at the time of claiming the warranty against any manufacturing defect of the product to the concerned authorized person.
- Please rotate your mattress from head to toe every 6 months and flip it every 12 months to enhance its longevity.
- Do not bend or fold your mattress, as it may damage the inner core of the mattress and result in serious damage.
- Protect your mattress from all kinds of moisture, liquids, and fire.
- The warranty for all mattress models is limited to sagging of the mattress core only and shall not apply to the mattress cover, fabric, beading, stitching damage, tears, stains, colour fading, bleeding, soiling, or burns.
- As per ISI standards, body impressions up to 0.75 inches are considered normal and natural for all types of mattresses. Body impressions of 1 inch or more shall be considered sagging complaints and will be addressed accordingly.
- The warranty on products is applicable only if the product is purchased from an authorized dealer.
- The warranty shall be void in case of mishandling or improper use of the product.
- Transportation costs for the replacement mattress shall be borne by the customer.
- In case the identical material/model is unavailable at the time of service, S.C.P.I. reserves the right to provide a substitute of equal value or issue a refund.
- S.C.P.I. reserves the right to change product features, specifications, and warranty terms without prior notice.
- The company’s decision regarding the nature of the defect and the applicability of the warranty shall be final.
- All disputes relating to this warranty shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Haryana courts.
Warranty Schedule & Calculation
Pro-Rata Calculation Method
In case of sagging, the pro-rata value available to the customer is:
Pro-rata Value = (Purchase Value of Mattress × Remaining Warranty Period) ÷ Total Warranty Period
Example: A mattress with a 10-year warranty and a purchase value of ₹5,000 develops a defect after 3 years.
Pro-rata value available to the customer after 3 years:
(5,000 × 7 Years) ÷ 10 Years = Rs. 3,500/-
Amount payable by the customer for replacement during the pro-rata warranty period:
Amount Payable = Current Purchase Value of the Same Mattress − Pro-Rata Value Available to the Customer
The customer must pay the difference between the current purchase price of the replacement mattress and the pro-rata value calculated above.
